Central Los Angeles Area Planning Commission

Updated

The Central Los Angeles Area Planning Commission is one of seven Area Planning Commissions in Los Angeles. Each hears cases from its region, including certain smaller-scale projects and appeals. Its five commissioners are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council (CF 24-1200-S60), and its 2026 agendas include appeals in the Hollywood and Wilshire plan areas (Aug. 25 agenda).

Latest as of October 1, 2026

The Commission canceled its Sept. 22 meeting for lack of cases. Its next regular meeting is Oct. 13. Its Sept. 8 agenda included a five-story single-family home at 6155 W. Rodgerton Dr. in Hollywood. On Aug. 25 it voted 4-1 to grant in part a neighborhood appeal of the conditional use permit for a synagogue at 200-202 S. Orange Dr., limiting occupancy to 75 people, the Larchmont Chronicle reported.
