Board of Water and Power Commissioners
The Board of Water and Power Commissioners oversees and sets policy for LADWP, the City-owned utility serving more than 4 million residents. Its five commissioners approve the department's contracts, bond sales and service rules, such as the Sept. 8, 2026 request to authorize up to $1.081 billion in Power System revenue bonds.
