Mid City West Neighborhood Council

Published October 1, 2026 · Updated October 8, 2026

The Mid City West Neighborhood Council covers the area that its boundaries page places between La Brea Avenue and the Beverly Hills and West Hollywood borders, from West Hollywood south to Olympic Boulevard, divided into seven zones split by Rosewood Avenue, Third Street, Wilshire Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue, in Council District 5. Under the City's Plan for a Citywide System of Neighborhood Councils, anyone who lives, works or owns property in the area is a stakeholder, as is anyone who declares a community interest there through a school, nonprofit, religious or other community group.

Latest as of October 11, 2026

The Mid City West Neighborhood Council's board meets online on Oct. 13 on an agenda that lists a 2026-27 budget of $29,038.37, four Neighborhood Purpose Grants totaling up to $5,250, and Community Impact Statements on five council files, including one opposing Council File 26-0803, a motion on removing Flock Safety license plate readers, and one supporting Council File 26-1330, on carrying out Measure FD. That agenda says the executive committee approved the budget and the four grants at its Oct. 7 meeting.
