Encino Neighborhood Council

Published October 1, 2026 · Updated October 2, 2026

The Encino Neighborhood Council covers Encino, in the southwest San Fernando Valley, in Council Districts 4 and 6. Under the City's Plan for a Citywide System of Neighborhood Councils, anyone who lives, works or owns property in the area is a stakeholder, as is anyone who declares a community interest there through a school, nonprofit, religious or other community group.

Latest as of October 1, 2026

The board's August 26 agenda listed a motion asking LAPD and the City Attorney to enforce the City's party house ordinance at a house in Encino, where the motion says police were called 17 times since January 2025, and a motion opposing a Verizon Wireless application for a 60-foot cell tower at the Encino Lake Tennis Club. It also listed a motion to form an ad hoc LA28 Olympic committee and a motion on the 2027 election worksheet. The September 23 agenda listed the LA28 committee motion again under old business, a revised 2026-27 budget that reallocates rollover funds and up to $2,300 for a holiday event.
