Published October 1, 2026 · Updated October 7, 2026

The Neighborhood Council of Westchester/Playa covers Westchester, Playa del Rey and Playa Vista, an area that City Planning splits between the Westchester-Playa del Rey and Los Angeles International Airport community plan areas (NCWP). Anyone who lives, works or owns property in the area, or declares a stake in it as a community interest stakeholder, is a stakeholder (Plan for a Citywide System of Neighborhood Councils).

The board's Oct. 6 agenda listed a letter about off-campus housing occupied by Loyola Marymount University students and a voting model for the 2027 board election.
