Westside Regional Alliance of Councils

WRAC is a coalition of 14 neighborhood and community councils on the Westside, each of which appoints a primary and an alternate representative to its board. The board recommends motions to the member councils, and a motion becomes a WRAC position when a majority of member councils (8 of 14) pass it; WRAC then sends it to City officials (WRAC).

At its Sept. 28 board meeting, WRAC re-elected Robin Greenberg as chair and Chris Spitz as vice-chair and elected Nico Ruderman secretary/treasurer for October 2026 to September 2028 (recap memo). The board approved a Sept. 30 letter to the Council supporting Version B+ of the Citywide Sign Ordinance in CF 11-1705 and a letter to Mayor and City Attorney candidates. In August the board reported that it would not be able to host a Mayor and City Attorney candidate forum. The next board meeting is Oct. 19.
