The Westside Neighborhood Council covers the area between Santa Monica Boulevard, the San Diego Freeway (405), National Boulevard and the eastern edge of Century City, inside the West Los Angeles community plan area (WNC; bylaws). Anyone who lives, works or owns real property inside those lines, or takes part in a community organization there, is a stakeholder (bylaws, Article IV).

The Westside Neighborhood Council's Oct. 8 board meeting agenda listed land use items on Citywide sign regulations (CF 11-1705), illegal off-site signs (CF 26-0173), the Missing Middle ordinance and a proposed digital advertising kiosk program, plus an item on Charter Amendment PL. The same agenda listed $1,500 in grants to FOWLA for Senior Sweets and sip and paint classes at Westwood Plaza, both also on the board's Sept. 10 agenda, and an update on the Westwood Blvd Safety and Mobility Project, which the agenda described as a bike lane on Westwood Boulevard.
