The Tarzana Neighborhood Council's board, Outreach Committee and Events Committee hold another special joint meeting on Oct. 14 on Zoom. Its agenda lists up to $300 for Halloween candy for a council booth at the Tarzana Recreation Center's Pumpkin & Scarecrow Fest on Oct. 31 and planning for the 14th annual Earth Day Festival and poster contest. The Oct. 8 joint meeting agenda listed the same topics with no amounts (agenda). The board's August 25 agenda listed a Community Impact Statement supporting Council File 26-0906-S4 only if amended to make CERT certification voluntary for Neighborhood Council board members, and a letter asking Councilmember Bob Blumenfield to restore weekly street cleaning in Tarzana.
