Van Nuys Neighborhood Council special meeting, July 22, 2026
From official records: The Van Nuys Neighborhood Council's board voted at its July 22, 2026 special meeting to support the Bureau of Engineering's state grant application for L.A. Riverway Segment 7 and a Hazeltine Avenue connection from the G Line to the L.A. River, and to send a letter asking that Van Nuys Civic Center Plaza be a 2028 Olympics fan site, according to posts on the council's website that give no vote counts. Both letters were on the 10-item agenda and had also been on the July 8 agenda. Minutes were not on the City agenda index, on the council's agendas and minutes page or in the later board agenda packets as of Oct. 1, 2026, so the other outcomes are not known.
