Northridge East Neighborhood Council
The Northridge East Neighborhood Council covers the part of Northridge between the 118 Freeway and Nordhoff Street, from Reseda Boulevard east to Aliso Wash, Balboa Boulevard and Bull Creek, in the San Fernando Valley. Under the City's Plan for a Citywide System of Neighborhood Councils, anyone who lives, works or owns property in the area is a stakeholder, as is anyone who declares a community interest there through a school, nonprofit, religious or other community group.

The Northridge East Neighborhood Council's Executive Committee and board were scheduled to meet jointly online on Oct. 11, 2026, to set the Oct. 21 board agenda; minutes were not posted on the council's agendas and minutes page as of Oct. 12 (meeting page). The Oct. 11 agenda listed for Oct. 21 a possible Community Impact Statement on Council File 26-1382, the Council's Oct. 7 reactivation of a 2002 community borough proposal, and a request from United Firefighters of Los Angeles City to present on Measure FD with an opposition speaker invited, plus a possible budget revision using rollover funds. The September 16 special board agenda included grants recommended by the Education Committee of up to $5,000 for robotics kits at Northridge Academy High School, up to $4,000 for robotics at Holmes Middle School and $1,500 for Dearborn Elementary Charter Academy's STEAM program.
