On the agenda: The Northridge East Neighborhood Council's Executive Committee and board were scheduled to meet jointly online on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2026, and the main item on the 13-item agenda was setting the agenda for the Oct. 21 board meeting. 5. Draft board minutes
- What it asks: Review of draft minutes for nine 2026 board meetings (Sept. 16, Aug. 19, July 15, June 17, May 20, April 15, Feb. 18, the Jan. 26 special meeting and Jan. 21), each marked “pending,” and a revised draft for July 16, 2025, plus an update on engaging a different company to take board meeting minutes (agenda).
8. Earlier board adjournment
- What it asks: Discussion of how to carry out an earlier board adjournment time of 9:30 p.m., including a requirement that recommendations be vetted first by an NENC committee or come as a request from a neighborhood council alliance or a City department. The agenda lists the item for discussion (agenda). The same topic was on the Sept. 7 agenda.
9. Setting the Oct. 21 board agenda
- What it asks: Set the agenda for the virtual Oct. 21, 2026 board meeting. The posting deadline is Oct. 15 at 4 p.m. (agenda).

That number belongs to a different file, a City Attorney report on a lawsuit (CF 26-1182). The borough motion is CF 26-1382: Tim McOsker, seconded by Bob Blumenfield and Heather Hutt, moved on Sept. 30, 2026 to reactivate CF 02-1011, a 2002 resolution asking the City Attorney to draft a Charter amendment for a community borough system and an implementing commission, and to restore it to its last legislative status (motion). The Council’s roll call on Oct. 7 was 14-0, Yaroslavsky absent (CF 26-1382). No neighborhood council had filed a statement on the file as of Oct. 12, 2026 (CF 26-1382).

The Oct. 11 agenda also notes the City Clerk’s revised funding Policies and Guidelines and Financial Officers Handbook, effective April 1, 2026, and lists the $10,000 Community Improvement Project with the City for parkway tree services for an update (agenda).
