North Hollywood Northeast Neighborhood Council
The North Hollywood Northeast Neighborhood Council covers the northeast part of North Hollywood, bounded roughly by Roscoe Boulevard and Sherman Way on the north, Victory Boulevard on the south, the City limit on the east and Whitsett Avenue and the 170 freeway on the west, per its About page; it is in Council Districts 2 and 6. Under the City's Plan for a Citywide System of Neighborhood Councils, anyone who lives, works or owns property in the area is a stakeholder, as is anyone who declares a community interest there through a school, nonprofit, religious or other community group.

On September 16 the board voted 10-0, with one abstention, to back 18 Council files in Community Impact Statements the Clerk posted September 23, including motions on Waymo autonomous vehicle incidents, El Niño emergency planning, the proposed Capital Infrastructure Plan and security at Animal Services shelters. One of the 18 supports the amended CERT training motion, which now calls for wider access to training instead of requiring it of Neighborhood Council board members; the board had filed an earlier statement on that file in August.
